Jets Report – March 4, 2015

Jets vs Senators
At the beginning of the year this might have been a game you sold your tickets to a friend of a friend. Fast forward to today and this is the Jets most important game of the year (get used to hearing that 18 more times). The Jets need to win to stay maintain their wildcard spot as the Kings, Sharks, Flames and Wild all won last night. Who said this would be easy?
The Sens have been making a push of their own, winning 5 of 6 games on a grueling Westcoat trip that leaves a lot of teams flying home with nothing to show for it. Call up sensation Andrew Hammond looks to make his 6th straight start for the streaking Sens who sit back 6 points of the Bruins for the final playoff spot in the East. The Jets must have loved seeing Swedish defender Erik Karlsson playing 35 minutes last night in Minnesota, a 3-2 SO loss.
Look for the Jets to get on the body early and often in a sold out MTS Centre. Lee Stempniak will be making his Jets debut on the left side of the 3rd line with Adam Lowry and Blake Wheeler. The top two lines will stay intact. After the morning skate is appears that Michael Hutchinson will make his 5th straight start.
